Our client is an international leader in power and control electronics with key clients in renewable energy, rail, marine and many more industries.
They are seeking a junior Back Office Assistant to join them as they are growing their PV and Electronic division.
The Job Opportunity
As the Back Office Assistant you will be required to assist with all general admin support to the PV staff which will include quotes, purchase orders, sales orders and different documentation for the division, all captured into files and on their system, assisting with logistics and procurement for the division, scanning of documents, filling out requisitions, general filling, preparation of documents, etc. You will also assist clients and suppliers with general enquiries as well as assisting on the stock side. Further assistance with travel arrangements, controlling of sample units, marketing activities and helping the other departments when needed.
You are an honest, hard-working, reliable and integrous person with Matric and at least 2 years' experience working in general office administration or similar. You are currently or have previously worked in logistics or procurement in their back office.
You are excellent in problem-solving, liaising with clients and handling queries. You have strong computer knowledge including the full MS Office suite as well as Internet. SAP experience would be beneficial to you.
Working for an international, growing company and earning a salary of between R5000 and R7000pm.
Normal working hours will apply.
You must be able to start working immediately.
