Our client is an international leader in power and control electronics with key clients in renewable energy, rail, marine and many more industries.
They are seeking a Business Development Manager for their PV division.

The Job Opportunity

As the new Business Development Manager you will be leading the commercial PV division, taking part in setting the business strategy all whilst identifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible both for managing existing clients (80% of the time) as well as new business development (20% of the time) in South Africa as well as across Sub-Sahara Africa.

Your Requirements

A relevant degree (Engineering or Commerce) combined with a min of 5 years strong, proven sales experience in photovoltaic products are a must.
If communication is one of your strong points and you are easy to get along with this role might just be for you.
Because of your background in sales, you already have a customer database and are familiar with the companies in the PV sector. You work well under pressure and are very familiar with African grid codes, existing local regulations, local content and BBEEE.

Normal working hours apply with travel requirements.
