The successful candidate will be responsible for the general administrative HR tasks which includes but not limited to Co-ordination of HR Activities, HR stats and reports, recruitment and selection, Training and Development, Employee Assistant Programs,etc within a unionised environment.

Candidate MUST have the following:


- Matric
- Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Packages
- Degree/Diploma in HR Management
- Drivers license and own transport
- Able to travel between sites (different provinces)
- Sage application for Payroll & HR wil be an advantage
- 3 - 5 years experience in HR
- Union/Shop stewards knowledge and experience
- 1 - 3 years experience in either logistics, oil, manufacturing, mining or shippling industry

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Assisting and co-ordinating in the following areas:

- Training & Development
- HR Stats and Reports
- Recruitment and Selection
- Employee Assistance Programs
- HR Administration function
- Job profiling
- Assist with Payroll related functions
- Time and Attendance
- Industrial Relations

- Must be pro-active
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical ability
- Accuracy & Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Must be a team player
- Able to build relationships with all stakeholders
- Xhosa verbal communication skills will be an advantage

Primary consideration will be given to candidates complementing WWL VSS Employment Equity and BBBEE targets.
