Description

My client in the industrial gas industry is looking for a Sales Consultant to join their team in Cape Town.

APPLICANTS IN THE AREA WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE

The purpose of the role is to drive day-to-day sales for both IM and WC (integrated team) in line with the strategic sales plan and ensur targeted sales growth and GPM's for the area are met. In addition, managing key accounts and distributors in the area.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Achieve individual sales targets
- Service existing customers
- Increase customer base/market share gaining new customers
- Report competitor activities
- Monitor and report on competitor activities
- Assist in preparation of sales targets
- Compile sales reports when requested
- Assis in collection of customer's outstanding monies
- Perform any other reasonable task that may be required or requested in order to achieve the objectives and purpose of the position

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Matric
- Sales and Marketing degree/diploma, or Engineering degree/diploma
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in gas or related industry
- Valid driver's license
- SAP experience
