Overview: Skills Foundation

Participants in this course will be  introduced to facilitating a safe environment  in their own area  of work. Course  material will enable participants to recognize and prevent potential hazards and to effectively prepare service  areas. Participants will be  equipped to use,  at a basic  level, all equipment and utensils. National and local regulations and  working practices are  included  in all practical  competencies, including health and safety, food and beverage services and personal presentation in the service area.


Overview: Skills Proficiency

Programme participants will be able to maintain safe working conditions and adopt  safe procedures for themselves and others.  The programme will equip delegates with the skills to organise and efficiently carry out food and beverages services, ultimately raising the service standards of the establishment. Effective interaction  with customers during the provision of services  is covered. The use  of national  and  local regulations is included in all practical competencies.
