NEBOSH International General Certificate
The NEBOSH International General Certificate in Health and Safety, a worldwide recognised health and safety qualification which focuses on international health and safety standards and priorities, (ILO/18001) and best practice controlling hazards. It offers an excellent basic grounding in the essentials of health and safety.
This eleven (11) day course, has a prerequisite of either NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH ICC.
The target groups for the programme are:
- Managers
- Supervisors
- Non-safety specialists
- Worker representatives who have both general and specific health and safety responsibilities within their organisation
The IGC consists of three components, namely:
- Unit IGC 1: Management of international health and safety
- Unit IGC 2: Control of international workplace hazards
- Unit IGC 3: International health and safety – practical application
